Stamford Downtown is the place to be on September 25 & 26, 2010 when “Arts & Crafts on Bedford Street” returns for its sixth year. Residents at Hoyt Bedford Apartments in Stamford are encouraged to attend this FREE event featuring Fine Arts and Contemporary Crafts. Over 80 craft and artisan boutiques will be open on Bedford Street along with restaurants with extended sidewalk cafes.

The event is rain or shine and will be open the following hours:

Stamford Restaurant Weeks Begins on August 22nd

Many of Downtown Stamford’s top restaurants will be offering special prix fixe lunch & dinner menus between August 22- September 5 for the 2010 Stamford Summer Restaurant Weeks. Prix fixe lunch prices range from $10.10- $20.10 and dinner prices range from $15.10- $30.10 depending on restaurant.

Some of the restaurants participating this year include Aria Restaurant, Barcelona Restaurant & Wine Bar, Chez Jean Pierre, The Capital Grille, EOS Grek Cuisine, and Mitchell’s Fish Market to name a few. For a list of all participating restaurants, menus, and pricing then please click here.

New Farmers Market Opens in Norwalk

The Norwalk Health Department will be holding a Farmer’s Market every Wednesday from 1-4PM beginning July 28th. The farmers market will take place in the Norwalk Health Department parking lot located at 137 East Avenue and include some of the best fresh, local produce from around the area.
