Seramonte's Ready for the Super Bowl!
Here at the Seramonte Hamden rental apartments, we are really looking forward to the Super Bowl this Sunday. It’s sure to be an exciting day at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, since the game will be a rematch of the of the final game between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots four years ago.
The event will be complete with the usual fanfare and commercials, and reports indicate that the “Material Girl,” Madonna, will be performing her hit songs during the half time show. At the leasing office, we’re all entertaining the possibility of additional half time performances by Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am and LMFAO. The NBC broadcast will take place at 6:30 p.m., televised nationally and streamed online free for computers and mobile devices in high definition.

John Davenport's restaurant offers stunning views of New Haven and great food!
Residents of our Hamden rental apartments at Seramonte have access to all manner of cuisine. At Seramonte, you’re just a walk or short drive from Zagat’s most popular Connecticut restaurant, the Frank Pepe Pizzeria. That being said, one of our new favorite places to eat is John Davenport’s at the New Haven Omni Hotel.
John Davenport’s offers creative dining by way of comfort food with a twist. It’s a 19th-floor bar and restaurant in an upscale atmosphere specializing in creative New England cuisine including Maine Lobster, George’s Bank Scallops as well as Mac-n-Cheese, burgers, sliders and pastas, all with a twist that will make you go “wow!” While enjoying the food, you can also appreciate spectacular views of New Haven’s historical green and one of the most prominent Ivy League colleges in the country: Yale University. Seramonte Hamden apartments, Connecticut will be handing out sweet treats to residents in the leasing office on Friday, October 29th from 2-5PM. Kids in the community are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costume and stop in for photos and a chance to win an ipod shuffle.
If you’re a resident and planning to give out candy to trick-or-treaters for Halloween then the Seramonte Managament Office will supply you with a flyer that says “Trick or Treat, We Have Sweets” to hang on your door. We hope this will make it easier for trick or treaters to easily get around the community without disturbing residents choosing not to participate.

If you haven’t had an opportunity to take advantage of fair season in Connecticut this year then time is almost up. The Berlin Fair, which has taken place every year since 1949, marks the end of fair season and is this weekend (October 1st- 3rd).
The Berlin Fair is one of Connecticut’s largest agricultural fairs and an easy drive from some of Connecticut’s best apartments in Hamden and New Haven. The Fair features lots of entertainment, food, crafts, livestock, and state contests. Some of the entertainment includes country singer Jake Owen, Racing Pigs, Ryan Pelton as Elvis, Micky Dolenz/ The Monkees, and more.

Some of Hamden’s best restaurants will be offering either a buy one get one free option or three-course prix fixe menu with appetizer, entree, and dessert.
